Sodexo’s Government Services North America is seeking a General Manager 2 f or the House of Representatives in Washington, DC at the Capital Market Cafeteria.


The GM will be responsible for a food program within a high level political environment. The ideal candidate is required to be food focused and possess strong customer service skills with the knowledge to manage a union hourly employee work force.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience in all aspects of restaurant operations, Customer Service, Cash handling, HR responsibilities, Financial Reporting, Marketing and promotions.


  • Strong food costing and labor controls – knows the business end of running a production kitchen.


  • Ability to manage standards/systems in a café / retail operation.


  • Previous Retail operations training and a passion for providing quality food options to enhance and elevate the dining experience.
