Description


As our NA IT Business Consultant, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with our cross functional teams; responding to routine questions regarding testing and tracking and perform triage and trouble shoot if needed. You will be responsible for release planning, coordination and communication. Support release execution by monitoring of each phase of the release and alert appropriate stakeholders of any issues that need to be addressed.


Key Job Accountabilities


  • Learn and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Nike Supply Chain Delivery processes


  • Ensure compliance with Nike company policies and Nike Technology processes and procedures


  • Provide professional, timely, and accurate communication to the right audiences at the right intervals keeping all stakeholders informed


  • Coordinate communications, plan, and manage testing between internal and external test teams and resources; building strong relationships with your business partners to ensure successful outcomes and close partnering


  • Drive resolution of testing issues through problem solving, escalation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proactive relationship management by regular contact and follow up on supply chain challenges


  • Attend and facilitate planning meetings to collect data and information pertaining to the initiative or release. Maintain a calendar of events that gives visibility to upcoming releases or outage windows


  • Coordinate maintenance windows with key operations staff for all pre-planned Technology work


  • Participate as a member and key contributor to the Global Release Management Team


  • Execute against and ensure compliance of Nike’s Global Enterprise Change Control processes

Qualifications What We’re Looking For


  • 3 years of experience in IT, business or a related field (2+ years’ additional experience required in lieu of a degree)


  • 2 years’ experience in Logistics, Distribution, and/or Sales


  • Must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office tools


  • General knowledge of Enterprise Release Management and test cycle cadence, as well as Enterprise Change Control processes (ITIL)


  • Knowledge of basic phases of Project Management


  • Experience with SAP preferred


  • Distribution experience desired


  • SAP experience, especially in a release capacity is a plus
