Test Analyst Level III

Sub-Title: Test, Evaluation, and Engineering Analyst

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • Current Secret security clearance.

  • Education : They shall possess a Master’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering Management or Computer Science or a related discipline -AND- eight (8) years of general experience and five (5) years of relevant experience.

  • Alternate Education : They shall possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering Management or Computer Science) or a related discipline -AND- ten (10) years of general experience and seven (7) years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The candidate may have DAU Level III certification, or the civilian equivalent, in Test and Evaluation and/or Engineering.

  • Active valid Secret clearance


  • They shall lead the development and implementation of tailored and effective enterprise chemical and biological defense Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Systems Engineering (SE) policy, procedures, training, and awareness reflecting DoD and HHQ policy and requirements.

  • They shall provide T&E and SE management, review, expert-level assistance, and subject matter expertise for a full range of acquisition support services for systems engineering, operation evaluations, and risk reduction decision making.

  • They shall review and provide T&E and SE input to acquisition documentation (including, but not limited to: LCMP, TES, TDS, TEMP, LCCE, SEP, APB, PDR, CDR, PESHE, LCSP, PPP, Procurement and RDT&E Forms, O&O plans, and PAO documents).

  • They shall participate in developing and recommending new chemical and biological defense T&E policy concepts, methods, and solutions; and execution of guidance to support general staff processes.

  • They shall participate in the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT).

  • They shall lead a JPEO-CBD SE WIPT, to ensure integration and communication among Joint Project Managers regarding SE matters across the JPEO-CBD portfolio.

  • They shall coordinate and support meetings and reviews for JPEO-CBD and relevant stakeholders, including those conducted in person and/or via teleconference, VTC, and/or DCS. Some of these meetings may be held at locations other than JPEO-CBD HQ.
