The Architecture Lead will Identify, define and promote Citizens Process Automation (Process Automation) design principles and standards for developing and executing Process Automation processes

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Chairs a Process Automation design authority to define and monitor the delivery method and design principles by which Process Automation is implemented

  • Participates in the design of key Process Automation processes to ensure alignment with Process Automation program objectives

  • Responsible for providing guidance on the required infrastructure to the infrastructure team

  • Provides infrastructure guidance and support to Business Lines and corporate functions

  • Accountable for the Process Automation infrastructure configuration

  • Partners with Business Lines IT teams to imbed Process Automation considerations into technology processes including SDLC

  • Collaborates with Process Automation vendor on technology and software considerations


  • 5-10 years in IT architecture

  • Strong leadership, partnership and communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate with all levels of the firm to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems

  • Experience solving complex problems with urgency and a focus on driving business value

  • Experience with Process Automation design patterns and practices including queue management

  • Understands the use of design principles and when Process Automation software is suitable

  • Minimum 10 years of technology and architecture experience preferred

  • Minimum 6 months programming experience with Process Automation software preferred

  • Formal training in Process Automation software preferred

  • Experience leading a design authority function preferred


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
