The JPMorgan Chase Audit Department is accountable to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the Office of the Chairman, senior management and the firm's regulators.

The Internal Audit Department has over 1,000 auditors globally. As one of the key control functions in JP Morgan Chase & Co, the Audit Department is an independent assessment function established to evaluate, test, and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of management systems of internal controls.

The Global Technology Audit team provides full audit coverage for multiple technology organizations within JPMorganChase. These businesses deliver a wide range of technology services for the firm globally and partners with all lines of businesses. In addition, they ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm's computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally.

Position Description:

While this is not a traditional audit role, the role reports into the Senior Business Manager/Chief of Staff and actively contributes to the daily operations necessary to run a global team of 200 auditors.

The role includes delivery and oversight of operational metrics and reporting, budgeting and headcount management, and ensuring Audit Practice requirements are adhered to.

The role requires strong project management skills and attention to detail, in addition to current knowledge and interest in data analysis, technology and controls.


  • Support plan, budget, and resource management to facilitate timely execution of the audit plan with optimal resource assignments.

  • Acts as first point of contact for stakeholders and internal colleagues.

  • Manage internal Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting to proactively identify plan or budget exceptions and provide appropriate escalation and/or rationale

  • Lead preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for senior technology management of the firm, including a summary of the audit assessment on the state of technology controls.

  • Delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc audit performance reporting.

  • Obtain, review and challenge reported data and commentary to ensure consistency and accuracy of messages.

  • Manage and Oversee ongoing data updates relating to audit work, scheduler and time reporting.

  • Support responses to regulatory requests related to the IT Audit Function.

  • Work with a global team of IT Audit professionals to help interpret Audit Practice requirements and provide guidance for implementation of Practice changes.

  • 4 or more years of work experience, with specific audit or risk experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Accounting/Finance/Business

  • Experience of creating data visualization in Tableau preferred

  • Knowledge of general Information Technology controls

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite, including Power Point, Excel, and Access

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, willing to be challenged and take personal responsibility

  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task as well as assess and adjust priorities
