Position: OnBase System Analyst - Entry


The primary focus of this job is to plan, design, develop, implement and support ongoing development and support of the OnBase Document Management System. This position will involve maintenance, development and enhancement of OnBase application. General responsibilities include: In-depth knowledge in analysis, design, prototype, testing, develop/enhance applications, production support, including requirements gathering, estimating and documentation.


  • Analyze and determine functional specification for customer requests and confer with systems users to clarify objectives and determines the feasibility of the requested services

  • Consult with customers to analyze and understand functions to be automated, customer needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements

  • Demonstrate the capability to engage in projects with the keen ability to lead team members and draw upon their individual strengths to obtain results

  • Demonstrate presentation skills including excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Translate our customers' needs into internal processes and measurements utilizing OnBase solutions

  • Display a passion for making significant improvements

  • Present analytical problem solving abilities and project management skills

  • Provide technical support during and outside of traditional work hours and respond to issues and requests according to established service levels

  • Work in partnership with team members or business customers, advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems



  • Minimum Associate's degree in IT or Process Improvement related field – Bachelor's Degree Preferred


  • 2 or more years' experience working in the Process Improvement field

  • OnBase Software experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques and utilize them for departmental needs

  • Experienced in creating and maintaining documentation

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Work Conditions:

  • 40 hours/week

  • Lunch and breaks as per hospital policy

  • Works in well-lighted/ventilated office area

  • Sitting/standing/moving intermittently during working hours. Some lifting of light equipment will be required

  • Subject to changes in priorities and stress

  • Subject to frequent interruptions due to questions from staff members, peers, and customers

  • Travel Expectations 0-5%
