This position reports to the Sales Execution Leader in Middle Market Banking and is responsible for execution of sales management and key operational efforts in support of the South Regional leadership. This includes but is not limited to planning, facilitating and implementation of sales disciplines and effectiveness, and business as usual activities, as well as process improvement, redesign, and change management initiatives in the South Region. In addition, the position will work collaboratively with other Strategic Planning Managers, Strategy Consultants, Business Initiatives Consultants, Analytics Managers and Consultants, Partner groups and MMB Marketing and Communications Leaders across the organization.

Day to day responsibilities for this position include:

  • Design, document, facilitate and update processes that focus on sales and/or operational management in the South region

  • Partner with Middle Market team members and senior leaders in South region as well as strategic partners across Wholesale to continuously evaluate existing processes/disciplines and assist with team member execution

  • Responsible for consistently soliciting and responding to line feedback through various channels in South region, including leveraging internal advisory councils

  • Lead or participate in other sales and operational activities in the South region, including annual and special/one-time projects that require strategic support and oversight

  • Identify, design and execute on South-specific sales workshops needed in accordance with sales disciplines and strategies

  • In partnership with Insights/Analytics and Marketing, develop metrics that track/evaluate effectiveness and performance of campaigns, programs, and initiatives

  • In partnership with strategic partners, conduct internal and external benchmarking and research and analyze to make strategic assessments and recommendations

  • In partnership with Insight/Analytic partners and other strategic partners, interpret performance trends in MMB to proactively work with partners in addressing any performance gaps/opportunities

  • Develop presentations to include both detailed content and executive summaries to support all levels of leadership

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation

  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
