SALARY: $70K - $110K

Erdman Anthony is seeking a qualified full time engineer to start immediately in West Palm Beach to lead the project management and design efforts for municipal projects including replacement and rehabilitation of public infrastructure projects such as water distribution mains, sewer collection systems, sewer lift stations, and water and sewer treatment systems; development of parks, parking lots, offices, residences, etc.; various assignments for state and local government clients and private land owners. Project management duties include client relationship building, development of qualifications proposals, development of price proposals and contracts, managing the production of the projects, developing and monitoring schedules and budgets, performing quality control reviews. Duties will include:

  • Design of water, sewer, pumping stations, storm water, roadways

  • Prepare construction plans and specifications

  • Develop cost estimates

  • Permitting

  • Project management

  • Business development

  • Make decisions independently and take responsibility for project engineering solutions

  • Represent the company and client in meetings to resolve questions and to plan and coordinate work

Requirements and qualifications include:

  • BS degree in civil engineering

  • Five to ten years of civil engineering

  • Florida PE

  • Municipal design experience

  • Self-starter able to work independently

  • Good project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience designing/permitting in WPB, PBC, FDOT, SFWMD is a plus

  • Valid Florida driver's license
