About the Job:

The Communications Senior Manager will support communications for the office of the CEO and lead internal and external communications for the Chief Marketing Officer. Reporting to the VP, Global Communications, this individual will support the creation of communications materials for the CEO and the Executive Communication social media thought leadership program. The individual in this role will also be responsible for managing other communications duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Executive and Internal Communications and the Vice President of Communications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project manage the CEO’s communication schedule and engagements, including timely creation and delivery of briefing materials as needed for customer meetings, executive briefings, industry events, and media/analyst meetings.

Own and manage the CEO’s presence on the company’s intranet specifically the executive’s “Ask Questions box" and associated content.

Own and manage social media strategy and execution for the CEO and CMO, including tracking and reporting on metrics.

Research and support speaking opportunities.

Develop communications to help drive and support large-scale global change.

Align messaging to corporate communication activities and strategic company events.

Partner with account managers and corporate communications extended teams (employee communications, public relations, analyst relations, investor relations) and others to ensure message alignment in support of the company’s strategy.

Partner with the company’s speakers bureau to assess requests and pro-actively determine opportunities.

Understand industry, organization, and functional stakeholder perceptions and communication needs.

Participate in developing high quality content, and demonstrate expert understanding of complex technologies, products, and market challenges.

Develop and maintain a repository of executive platforms, core presentations, profiles/biographies, and best practices for leverage across the leadership team and communications community.

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent.

8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in business or communications or equivalent.
