Akamai’s Lead to Cash team is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for the design, delivery, and support of applications for Lead to Cash business processes. To succeed in this role, the versatile candidate must possess strong analysis, project management, communication, and application support skills. The Senior Business Systems Analyst must be able to work collaboratively and to coordinate business and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.


About the Team


The Lead to Cash team designs, implements, and supports technology solutions that optimize and automate Akamai’s campaign, lead, pipeline, forecasting, order, and contract. The ever-evolving technology stack consists of Salesforce, Marketo, SDL Tridion, Cast Iron, Oracle Business Intelligence, Salesforce Wave, Atlassian, and numerous custom platforms. The team consists of high-caliber business systems analysts, project managers, software engineers, and application administrators.


As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will:


  • Facilitate sessions with the business community to define and plan projects


  • Lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams through business process and application initiatives from requirements definition to prototyping, development and testing


  • Mentor business representatives through software development activities


  • Program management: coordinate meetings with subject matter experts, document and distribute meeting minutes, ensure actions items are completed on time, communicate project status, escalate issues to management as appropriate, and develop release notes


  • Review technical designs to confirm that business requirements are met


  • Support and operations: resolve application support requests and incidents, fulfill ad hoc report requests, perform deployment activities


  • Assist the team in refining and improving program/project management framework


  • Execute on other directives as needed

Required Education and Experience:


  • 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or


  • 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or


  • 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills:


  • 7+ years of experileaence in a Business Analyst or Project management role

Desired Skills:


  • Experience with CRM or SFA or Marketing Automation applications


  • Experience in the areas of: Marketing (Strongly Desired) or Direct Sales or Channel Sales or Finance


  • Technical Skills: Salesforce, Marketing Automation (Marketo), Salesforce Wave, Oracle Business Intelligence, Application Integration, SQL, Web Development Technologies, SaaS applications, Invoicing systems


  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills


  • Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization on a variety of projects


  • Ability to think strategically and handle multiple projects simultaneously


  • Proven track record delivering complex software solutions


  • Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems
