SALARY: $50K - $70K per year

Erdman Anthony is seeking a qualified full time engineer to start immediately in West Palm Beach to design municipal projects including replacement and rehabilitation of public utility projects such as water distribution mains, sewer collection systems, sewer lift stations, and water and sewer treatment systems; development of parks, parking lots, offices, residences, etc.; various assignments for state and local government clients and private land owners. Engineer Intern able to obtain a Professional Engineer license within two to three years. Duties will include design of water and sewer utilities, drainage, and roadways including:

  • Design of potable water and wastewater pipelines and pumping stations

  • Design of storm water and roadways

  • Prepare construction plans and specifications

  • Develop cost estimates

  • Permitting

  • Limited construction oversight

  • Make decisions independently and take responsibility for project engineering solutions

  • Represent the company and client in meetings to resolve questions and to plan and coordinate work

Requirements and qualifications include:

  • BS degree in civil engineering

  • Two to five years of civil engineering

  • Florida EI

  • Municipal design experience

  • Self-starter able to work independently

  • Good organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience designing/permitting in WPB, PBC, FDOT, SFWMD is a plus

  • Valid Florida driver's license
