The Product Management Analyst, Wilton Enterprises will be a strategic thinker who will be responsible for assisting the Product Manager in the execution of the Category Planning process. This role provides end-to-end support including pre-plan and post Category Planning analytics along with planning elements in cooperation with key stakeholders.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide analytical and project-based support for the team, while collaborating with numerous departments throughout the organization to ensure proper execution of all elements


  • Completes in-depth competitive analysis and provides initial insights for category planning


  • Run customized reports for product management to support in analyzing current business Reports could include POS reports, COGS and on time performance reports.


  • Provide preliminary business insights from report analysis


  • Completes all operational support for product commercialization, including on time and accurate completion of all data supporting, line lists, fact sheets, change requests submission for approvals and all other activities support product life cycle management


  • Responsible for project planning, deadline planning, task management, quick-to-market implementations, resource time management and compliance with the company’s product development process


  • Initiate product testing for retailer specific requirements. (example: Walmart)


  • Submit packaging requests for all SKU’s requiring packaging


  • Manage all packaging requests for retailer, (example: Michaels Celebrate Private Label Packing) programs


  • Collaborate with sales to manage the new item intake form for retailer (example: Michaels). Provide accurate information required in a timely manner


  • Manage intranet for product management

Requirements:


  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing major


  • 1-3 years business experience, preferably in marketing, consumer packaged goods experience a plus


  • Experience working with ERP systems. JD Edwards system knowledge a strong plus


  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines


  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing


  • Strong analytical, problem solving and math skills


  • Knowledge of marketing principles


  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments with different personality types


  • High energy, enthusiasm, self-motivation and ambition to grow in the role


  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, ERP a plus
