CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER


Erdman Anthony is a nationally recognized, award winning, diversified engineering firm renowned for exciting, complex, high-profile engineering projects. The firm is seeking a self-motivated, senior level electrical engineer for their Albany, NY, office to provide a variety of engineering duties including electrical design, business development, and other ancillary tasks to support the growth of the office.


Candidates shall possess BSEE or BET degree in electrical engineering.


Additional requirements and qualifications include:


  • New York State professional registration preferred but not mandatory


  • 6-9 years of progressive technical experience and diversified knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices in the design of power distribution, lighting, and building specialty systems


  • Prior experience in consulting engineering or construction environment


  • Experience in the commercial, institutional, and retail market segments a plus


  • Proficient with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects


  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision


  • Ability to manage and take responsibility of technical work content produced by co-workers


  • A high degree of client interaction with successful track record of client relationships and client development


  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills including proposal and report writing. Confident in presenting information and responding to questions from internal and external audiences


  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills


  • Positive, energetic, and cooperative attitude with both customers and internal staff

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
