Overview


The HR Program Manager is responsible for successfully designing, developing, implementing and evaluating Hyland’s community engagement programs and initiatives to increase the effectiveness of our philanthropic impact.


Responsibilities


  • Serve as point of contact for employees and managers for HR programs


  • Work to identify program hurdles and navigate them with the team.


  • Maintain key partnerships, both internally and externally, to ensure company is positioned correctly in the community as the premier technology employer


  • Develop internal and external communications that increase awareness and participation in various HR programs


  • Remain current on HR trends in the market as well as at competitors; propose new initiatives and assist with implementation


  • Drive day to day activities associated with the successful execution of HR programs


  • Monitor and manage event adherence to budget


  • Gather appropriate and accurate program data and generate post-program metric reports


  • Apply basic project/program management best practices to HR programs

Qualifications


  • Demonstrated experience (or 1-3 years’ experience) in volunteer management, community engagement or related position


  • Proven ability to cultivate strong partnerships, interface, communicate and influence at all levels of the organization


  • Solid project management skills


  • Microsoft Windows and Office proficient


  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Passion to learn about HR solutions and process improvement


  • Strong internal and external customer service focus


  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact


  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results


  • Up to 10% travel time required


  • Demonstrated experience managing HR programs


  • Strong oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact


  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence


  • Strong organizational, detail orientation and interpersonal skills


  • Track record of success in managing projects and programs in a fast pace, complex and ever changing work environment
