Seeking a Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-paced, multi-faceted work environment to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Children’s Strategic Business Unit Director of Finance, who is located in Wisconsin, this position will facilitate program profitability and sustainability through the analysis of financial statements and budgets. This position will be located in Lafayette, Indiana.


  • Oversees/Assists in the development of the business plan for an assigned area or operating unit and monitors performance accordingly to include: focusing on the maximization of program profitability and sustainability and analyzing financial information for assigned area to identify and monitor low producing areas


  • Oversees the annual budgeting and forecasting process for assigned area or operating unit


  • Completes internal budgets and financial projections utilizing information prepared by company directors


  • Reviews and provides input on budget proposals for continuation of existing services prior to submission to funding sources


  • Monitors assigned area or operating unit’s performance; reviews all available financial reports and investigates unusual expense for appropriateness


  • Assists in the identification, development, and interpretation of financial reports or tools that support capturing relevant information to enhance business operations


  • Reviews, analyzes, and makes recommendations for improved business processes and establishing new methods of increasing efficiencies of current infrastructure


  • Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or other related business degree


  • 5 years experience in an analytical role


  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and aptitude for learning accounting or finance software


  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritize, exercise good judgment, make quick decisions and effectively solve problems


  • Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance


  • Excellent oral and written communications skills


  • Ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment


  • Remains calm under pressure and maintains self-composure during times of high stress
