Position DescriptionAccounts Receivable Manager

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team! The Accounts Receivable Manager role is essential to increasing cash, evaluating new customers for credit risk and improving delinquency of high dollar accounts.

In particular you can expect to:

  • Ensure timely collection of monies due to corporation

  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing

  • Manage, motivate and develop AR staff to meet all goals and objectives

  • Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly

  • Assist in developing credit standards

  • Maintain an efficient process to ensure timely collections

  • Conduct credit checks on all customer, establish and manage limits

  • Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures

  • Daily & Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments, as well as daily metrics to monitor departmental performance

  • Work with internal and external customers to achieve the financial targets of the organization.

  • Participate in internal and external audits

To be successful, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • 2+ years of A/R management and accounting experience

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute strategically by identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills

  • High ethical and professional standards

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • SAP experience in AR/Financial functions and reporting

  • Experience in system implementations and ongoing upgrades
