MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) is seeking a high performing Production Analyst to support final reporting and documentation requirements of high-visibility, independent assessments of technology and products that cover a variety of areas and systems. We are seeking a qualified person to perform production center operations by transforming test plans, data, photographic and video evidence, and other test products into high-quality assessment reports and briefings. This position also requires skills in providing timely, professional, and credible deliverables, archiving copies and providing both digital and printed documents to clients. The maintenance of a well-constructed archiving system is also critical to continued operations.

MacB is a key provider of quick response technology assessments with a five year contract to provide support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense with work primarily at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our multi-discipline staff provides a broad range of engineering and technical services, including technology demonstrations and assessments, laboratory and field experiments, and integrated research and analyses. We are seeking additional personnel to join our technology assessment oriented organization. These positions involve support to a Department of Defense (DoD) activities for one or more projects that involve review of a technology or concept.


  • Help test teams complete test summaries, data packages, and other test products.

  • Help draft and review preliminary documents. Work with the test teams to polish final documents, removing errors and make necessary corrections.

  • Use document generation software packages such as MS Office Suite, InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud to develop documents templates. Complete overall layout and production design for scientific plans and reports. This includes laying out text, graphics, integrating video, and assembling other materials into a credible professional set of products.

  • Manage and distribute final product packages that include both electronic and hard copy deliverables.

  • Support documentation planning by managing multiple documents and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Manage and complete a smooth production process, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and that adequate supplies are adequately tracked and stocked.

  • Maintain and improve proficiency in use of software packages, monitor changes in document production best practices, monitor and recommend hardware and software that will enhance capability to support customers.

  • Document archival and maintenance of a library to ensure that documents (electronic and hard copy) are saved, stored, and accessed according to the requisite security classification guides.


  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

  • Key software skills needed with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Premiere Pro

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and/or 5+ years of general experience (Production/Production Center).

  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work under deadline pressure with fast turnarounds.

  • Demonstrated excellent in writing, grammar, proofreading, editing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to work with project personnel and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure thoroughness and accuracy of all publications.

  • Must be able to work independently or with a team, handle the stress of multiple projects, changing schedules, and short suspense tasking.

  • Proficiency in DoD guidelines and standards, security procedures, testing protocols, and administrative standards.

  • Experience working with multi-level classified information systems in a secure office environment.

  • Military experience and/or work experience in DoD Combined or Joint Service environments is considered a plus.
