Job Description:


CSRA is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team providing support to the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHPS). CSRA, in conjunction with our partners, delivers technical and management support services for NIOSH with the implementation of the WTC Act.


In this role with our technical operations team, you will be working with a team of 5 other Business Process Analysts / Testers. This position offers the opportunity for a flexible schedule, working primarily from home and going into our Falls Church, VA office 2 times a week.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Plans and designs complex business solutions and system modifications. Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.


  • Gathers business requirements through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews.


  • Analyzes and documents complex business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate parties (mainly the development team and the business owners).


  • Coordinates, facilitates, and leads meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.


  • Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project.


  • Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; conducts/monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.


  • Provides time estimates for project related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS -


Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in related field.


  • Strong analysis and problem solving experience (such as requirements gathering, documentation)


  • Good personal computer and business solutions software skills (such as MS Word, Excel, and/or databases)


  • U.S. Citizenship for CDC Public Trust clearance

Desired:


  • Strong database skills and experience, such as SQL coding, use of Access or Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups) is preferred


  • Master’s degree is a plus
