Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Residual Value Risk Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Risk Analyst, RV Forecasting.

The primary responsibility of this role is to own and maintain the residual value (RV) forecast process. They will be tasked with improving the performance, traceability, and reliability of the forecast. In this execution role, the person will exercise their technical muscle to modernize, streamline, and optimize existing processes.

A successful candidate will have expert level SAS skills and knowledge of SOX Compliance. They will be detailed oriented and manage to firm deadlines around month-end and quarter-end close. Hands on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, and experience with alternative analytical tools, such as R, JMP, and Python would be considered a plus.

What you will be doing

Produce accurate, efficient, and traceable quarterly residual value forecast using models in SAS

Work closely with statistical modelers to continuously improve forecast models by providing insights and business feedback

Collaborate with Compliance and Finance to ensure reliability, traceability, and compliance with required control points in order to mitigate audit/compliance risk

Design and help create new reporting and presentation capabilities to review forecast results with senior management

Look to continuously improve processes and build organizational awareness of forecasting methods

Support Business Intelligence department in automation and data mart development efforts
What you will bring

Knowledge of auto industry and economic information and data impacting used vehicle prices, including, but not limited to, information regarding economic trends/forecasts, new and used car markets, emerging technology, and competitor vehicles and sales

Experience helping to create new reporting capabilities to present to leadership

Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, mathematics, management science or statistics

Hands-on SAS programing experience in a business environment

Hands-on experience in advance SQL and expert MS Excel functions
