Proactively approach customers, assist them in locating products, and answer any questions they have
Promptly respond to assist cashiers to meet customer needs quickly and efficiently
Monitor customer flow and traffic patterns throughout the store, manage the right number of open lanes and run registers as necessary to reduce customer wait time

Results (What We Measure)

Assist Team Leader it coordinate the activities of team members, ensure tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently, and department runs smoothly
Minimize shrink by ensuring re-shops are done on a timely basis while managing department efficiency
Support store events and ensure employees are educated on and following programs and initiatives
Ensure team members are properly handling products, using equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines and Simplification 5S procedures

Work Environment

Work includes repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting, standing and walking for up to 4 hours without a break, occasional bending, frequent reaching, moving and lifting, along with continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5-12 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 40 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction)

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting
Managerial/supervisory experience
Service Desk customer service experience
