Job Description


The Business Coordinator II, under general supervision, provides support and coordination of a variety of business activities requiring independent judgment, including reviewing business documents and assisting in developing, monitoring, and reporting accounts and budget data.


Responsibilities:


  • Assists with all college payroll functions, Workday payroll process and will become SME for Workday functions in payroll.


  • Assists with contract preparation, routing and tracking.


  • Updates and reconciles gold accounts, vending accounts and Financial Services end of month accounting reports. -Maintains the vault and coordinates record retention approvals and tracking.


  • Coordinates with departments system access requests and changes.


  • Routes and stores HR documentation for finance.


  • Cross trains and provides back-up for iPayment entry and AP entry as needed.


  • Maintains, orders and submits payments in Aggie Buy for office supplies.


  • Tracks special projects and enters documents as needed.


  • Updates department statistical tracking reports.


  • Provides administrative support for Associate and Assistant Dean as needed

Required Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Three years of related experience in general office, accounting, or personnel operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Interpersonal and communication skills. Planning and organizational skills.


  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
