Inventory Records Analyst


As an Inventory Records Analyst, you will be Responsible for managing processes to ensureCaterpillar accuracy levels are maintained and improved. Functions include: reconcilingstock record and system discrepancies by analyzing various types oftransactions and systems, working closely with other functional areas and meetdepartment goals.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews the resulting information for accuracy and completeness and contacts appropriate areas if clarification is needed

  • Reviews data accuracy and initiates recount if needed

  • Answers numerous inquiries regarding count status, transactions, record adjustments, material locations, etc.


Basic Requirements

  • Candidate must have a minimum 4-year collegedegree with a minimum 2.8 Grade Point Average.

  • The candidate must also haveexcellent communication (oral and written), analytical, interpersonal, andleadership skills.

  • Candidate must have workingknowledge of MS Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Top Candidates Will Also Have

  • A background in Records Accuracy Management (RAM) is highlydesired.

  • An understanding of Inventory Adjustment Procedures and Supply ChainManagement is a key skill set.

  • Working knowledge of SRA, SPM, SAP systems are desired.

  • Candidate should have strong leadership, projectmanagement and writing skills, with experience developing and documentingprocesses.

  • Strong initiative, ability to learn quickly, and teamwork skillswhile working in a cooperative and diverse team environment are desired.

  • The ideal candidate has the ability to work independently on multiple threads of work and must be highly organized.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn new tasks quickly are a must.
