POSITION SUMMARY


This position requires answering questions and resolving issues based on phone calls and emails from brokers and preparing market analyses evaluating new market potential. This position will also prepare quote requests to underwriting included census summary, zip code analysis and plan design, prepare a case for install and monitor the process by doing peer to peer reviews and auditing the process to completion.


Fundamental Components:


Knowledge of health insurance industry preferred, but will train the right person with strong customer service background.


Work with all related areas to work Quote Requests:


-Retrieve quote requests from all areas (assigned mailboxes and sales reps)


-Scrub for missing information and submit to underwriting


-Understand our products and programs to be able to answer broker/customer requests


Work with all related areas to support Sold cases:


-Process enrollment packet orders/put together materials needed for enrollment meetings


-Gather all sold info from sales rep and broker


-Work the case installation through the systems


-Interact with all departments involved in the installation to ensure a smooth transition for the client


-Hand over to account management when all has been completed


Other General duties:


-Maintain good relationships with our internal and external customers


-Special projects as needed to maintain housekeeping for our department


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:


-Customer Service Experience required to communicate effectively with all levels of management internal/external


-Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook


-Strong Verbal & Written Communications


-Listening Skills


-Knowledge in problem solving


EDUCATION


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Functional - Sales & Service/Sales administration, support, reporting/1-3 Years


Functional - Marketing/Sales support/1-3 Years
