Major Duties


Primary Purpose of Position:


Provide support as an analyst within the Fishers Quality department. Monitor the production floor operation and effectiveness by verifying and recording identified defects, performing product hold and releases, championing operator defect awareness, incoming product inspection, scrap recording and daily audits.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Education


Associates degree or Bachelors in Business or other business related programs.


Experience/Knowledge


  • 2+ years in Manufacturing or Quality Assurance role.


  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.


  • Ability to effectively time manage and prioritize tasks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • SAP Experience helpful

  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)


  • Attention to Detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • Standing and walking approximately 85 percent of the time and sitting at a workstation 15 percent of the time.


  • Must be able to travel 10-15 percent of work time.


  • Ability to work overtime or with short notice necessary. This position will be a flex shift so the individual will work week day shifts and some weekend shifts each month, with every other weekend off per month.


  • Typical manufacturing environment.
