The Sales Operations Business Change Manager will be responsible for working with all levels of management, including but not limited to Senior Executives, Directors, and Managers in a reporting and analytics role to optimize business performance of our national sales organization. The successful individual will take a direct role in the analysis, compilation and presentation of data for the purposes of revenue forecasting, process improvement, hiring projections, staff development & productivity and program development. The individual will use sales programs, competitive information and maintain departmental reporting & dashboards to increase efficiency and aid operations. Importantly, the Sales Operations Business Change Manager will work with the CRM tool and other sales and account management related technologies to help support the operations of the national sales organization.


  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; Develop and deploy metrics, dashboards, process changes and enhancements to improve sales effectiveness and productivity. Understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies to implement data enrichment processes to improve sales team’s performance.

  • Administer the database and other sales and marketing technologies. Drive process improvement and manage all aspects of Salesforce CRM including workflow, reporting, data integrity and maintenance.

  • Support sales and account management team with forecast reporting, standardization, consolidation and communication. Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting for reps, managers, and sales leaders. Provide Salesforce administration setup and training for all users, system configuration, reporting, documentation of best practices and maintenance of data.

  • Provide ongoing analytics on sales and retention activities. Assess current funnel performance and recommend changes techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management. Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers. Analyze and understand processes/activities that need to be enhanced and produce. Make recommendations for ongoing improvements

  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, sales compensation plans, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with onboarding new sales talent.

  • Ad hoc analytic projects.

  • Assist finance with administration of sales commissions


  • Must have demonstrated success in sales operations

  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and drive the core department processes

  • Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis.

  • Proven Salesforce subject matter expert with experience creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, managing dashboards, and more.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; proven strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance and Implementation/Support.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to C-level executives.

  • Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
