The Commercial Loan Closer will be responsible to deliver loan on-boarding to a broad range of Commercial customers, varying from simple to highly complex loan structures, with a particular emphasis on delivering operational excellence.


  • Contribute ideas, innovations and insights based on operational and customer needs that will enable improvement of overall business unit performance.

  • Possess strong customer service attitudes and values.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with RM’s and PM’s across the business s that these contribute to both the effective operation of Commercial Lending onboarding.

  • Seize opportunities that enhance performance and the customer experience.

  • Ensure compliance with department SLA’s, policy and procedure.

  • Support efforts in streamlining operations and improve customer service.

  • Support process improvement activity and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Identify and escalate risk where appropriate.

  • Comply with Bank procedures as documented.

  • Provide assistance to all colleagues and/or customers regarding processes.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers.

  • Identify opportunities that add value to the business objectives and enhance the customer experience


  • 2+ years financial industry experience required

  • Commercial Closing experience required

  • Experience in operational servicing functions preferred

  • Understanding of commercial lending products and commercial operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience in Commercial Loan Servicing functions preferred

  • Experience with Loan Accounting system

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or (GED) Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM
