Job Description:


Basic Purpose-


Plan and direct all aspects of the division’s customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develop customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistent customer service and satisfaction. Recommend changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs based on customer feedback. Oversee the activities of Customer Service Representatives or sales order processing staff. Troubleshoot and resolve non-routine customer complaints. Resolve major problems with orders, delivery dates or service.


Description-


Plan, evaluate and organize the overall operations and ensure achievement of goals and objectives either directly or through subordinate staff. Integrate and control flow of information and activities of other internal departments in the pursuit of responding to customer needs, complaints and inquiries.


Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of customer service operations and systems. Develop and implement customer service procedures. Design or modify programs to increase productivity and quality. Coordinate activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs.


Monitor operating systems, including policies, procedures, structure, and flow of information. Develop and implement approved policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure the volume of work produced meets or exceeds product, service, or quality standards.


Supervisory responsibilities involve staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions.

Qualifications-


Education/Training: Associate's Degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.


Related Experience: Minimum five years of experience in customer service and at least two years of supervisory experience.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong people management skills required. Experience in food service distribution desirable. Should be proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
