Basic Function


Under general direction from the Director or Manager of National Corporate Sales, offers support to sales organization to include development of sales promotions, tools, reporting or other special projects. Support sales manager and customer needs as requested.


Job Duties



  1. Support the sales organization through customer support, project management, and reporting.


  2. Provide a high level of professionalism and personalized service to Field Sales Managers, National and Preferred Accounts, as well as internal customers.


  3. Assist in preparation of reports related to sales performance which includes account pricing, draft, and revenue target setting.


  4. Manage Libra database and supports sales managers with needs related to Libra. This will include maintaining current data standards, writing and running reports, and annual maintenance.


  5. Liaison with IT to develop, distribute, and maintain sales reports.


  6. Organize and communicate weekly/monthly/annual sales performance.


  7. Liaison with the Data Team to solve sales manager issues.


  8. Coordinate and manage renewals of vendor contracts.


  9. Create, edit, and maintain presentation slides for the sales organization.


  10. Answer incoming customer calls and overflow calls for all National Sales Managers and Preferred Account Coordinator.


  11. Assist in the handling & responding of RFPs for Field and National accounts, rate loading, and GDS troubleshooting.


  12. Manage an account base of select customers, functioning in proactive tasks.


  13. Develop and participate in potential prospecting projects targeting new account leads, RFP research, and un-solicited bid opportunities.


  14. Support marketing and Magnet Mail efforts of National Accounts department.


  15. Assist in planning, and potentially participate, in select trade shows or client events.


  16. Has a +1 Service Attitude and provides courteous, friendly guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to designated account inquiries, requests, and complaints.

General Knowledge, Skill and Ability


  • Requires knowledge of sales techniques and professional business practices.


  • Requires ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing.


  • Requires basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.


  • Requires effective time management and organizational skills.


  • Requires ability to operate an automobile in the daily routine of making sales calls.

Mental and Physical Requirements


EDUCATION:Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to 4 years of college or Bachelor's Degree in management, business, or related field.


EXPERIENCE:Requires strong experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.


Working Relationships



  1. Reports to the Director of National Corporate Sales.


  2. Cooperates with National Sales Managers, IT Department, Data Team.


  3. Works in conjunction / cooperation with Field Sales Managers, National Sales Office, National Call Center and other hotel sales personnel.
