The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.


The Audience and Onboarding team of Product Development Partnerships partners closely with regional Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) and Sales teams to understand cross-tool needs of sales audiences and owns the onboarding of new audiences. The team collaborates with tool development teams to develop a strategy that knits together the portfolio of sales tools, ensure common systems are built and identify gaps and opportunities for increased customer and sales success.


As a Sales Infrastructure Lead, you will know the key use cases of the different sales audiences and will develop strong trust-based relationships with the regional Sales and GTM team. You will work closely together with the other Global Product Lead teams within PDP and Global Productivity and Sales Tools (GPST), to translate the audience insights into business requirements, product development activities and sales solutions. This is truly a cross-functional role working with key partners across Sales, GTM, Product Management, and Engineering, where you’ll be participating in and influencing all facets of several key Google sales teams.


The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.


Responsibilities


  • Be a trusted partner for our internal customers (sales teams and management) to identify business needs, key use cases and opportunities for sales tools and infrastructure.
  • Produce and maintain a documented sales infrastructure roadmap.
  • Write high quality business requirement documents and support the design, development and deployment of tools from an audience perspective.
  • Manage projects and partner with various other teams within and outside of GPST to ensure all initiatives are on track for their part of the business/audiences.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of project management, marketing, sales, consulting, or business development experience.

Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA degree.
  • Knowledge of our Sales teams workflows and processes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business needs or problems and recognize clear solutions to those problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills with a high degree of analytical rigor.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills. Developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.
