At MetLife, we seek to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities. This role will be responsible for successfully submitting and securing approval of state filings related to LTC Rate Action as well as assisting in the compliance related matters.


Key Responsibilities: (Limit 5 bullets)


  • Work collaboratively with LTC product, legal and actuarial teams to ensure state filings relating to rate action are submitted in a timely manner and in line with state regulations and MetLife compliance standards. The work effort would include submitting state filings and responding to objections as well as developing relationships with state regulators.


  • Provide input for insured communications relating to LTC rate increases and assist in the implementation of LTC rate increases.


  • Provide support for LTC product and compliance teams with respect to Monthly Operational Reviews including the review of associated metrics.


  • Assist in documentation of compliance processes and review of state regulations.


  • Update and maintain general procedures, best practices and documentation for LTC team in support of internal quality program standards.


  • Provide assistance to Asst. Vice President and staff as needed.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:


Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree


  • 7-8 years related work experience with basic knowledge of LTC product and processes.


  • Working knowledge of LTC products and regulatory environment


  • Strong MS Office skills

Preferred:


  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.


  • 10+ years of industry experience.
