At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Manage the program's change configuration management process, utilizing IBM Rational Jazz and facilitate change configuration related meetings with key stakeholders and the program's technical team
  • Develop program performance metrics on a monthly basis
  • Support the maintenance and continuous development of FIT System Performance site and project SharePoint repository
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) functions, to include: create user acceptance criteria, develop UAT Schedule, plan UAT logistics, facilitate UAT, and report results to System Lead
  • Manage Integrated Project Schedule through Microsoft Project 2013
  • Maintain Stakeholder Registry to perform stakeholder analysis and manage stakeholder engagement for every project
  • Develop Project Charter for new projects
  • Facilitate lessons learned meetings
  • Manage Project Risks: facilitate FIT Risk Meeting, risk indemnification, qualitative risk analysis, risk mitigation strategy, and risk monitoring.
  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.


  • Top Secret Clearance required
  • Experience with the following: IBM TRIRIGA, IBM Rational Jazz, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and SharePoint
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications (e.g. CSM)
  • Familiarization with PMI process
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
