- Achieve, direct, and initiate sales, new placements, cooler resets, and displays within the branch's service area.
- Promote sales of products through personal selling efforts and regular contacts with key accounts.
- Spend at least 80% of time in the market, working with sales personnel, visiting key accounts, and monitoring retail performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Oversee route and presale realignments to improve customer service efficiency and expand account base.
- Promote a results-driven selling culture by leading through example, communication, and coaching.
- Ensure proper inventory management, rotation, and adherence to supplier compliance in both retail trade and warehouse settings.
- Ensuring designated and trained backup personnel for all key positions.
- Monitor and control payroll expenses related to overtime.
- Oversee safe operation of all company vehicles and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.
- Select, train, and maintain a professional and effective team.
- Conduct and review performance evaluations for managers, supervisors, and their teams.
- Foster teamwork and motivate employees by promoting continuous improvement and recognizing achievements.
- Maintain open communication with leadership, managers, and employees, addressing concerns through an "open-door" policy.
- Plan and lead weekly safety and sales meetings.
- Participate in planning sessions to set short- and long-term goals for the branch.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement quarterly marketing objectives.
- Ensure that spending on promotions, events, and donations is measurable and beneficial for the business.
- Protect company assets, including facilities, equipment, products, and cash, from loss and misuse.
- Monitor and enforce the Workplace Safety Program to minimize injuries and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with established safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and traffic violations affecting CDL or insurability.
- Represent the Company at public, social, and business events.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to align with company objectives.
- Assign special event planning and implementation to staff on a rotational basis.
- Ensure timely completion of office functions and assigned projects.
