The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the National Wildlife Federations’ donor and productivity systems. They will work with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organization’s fundraising, operational, and outreach goals. This role serves as a vital resource for end users, developers, and data analysts. They will provide support, documentation, and training to enhance user adoption and optimization. The administrator plays a key role in ensuring data hygiene, data governance, and the integrity of our enterprise systems.

Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $72,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration
- Serve as primary administrator for the CRM donor database (Microsoft Dynamics) and productivity solution platform (Atlassian JIRA), including user management, security controls, and system configuration.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to maintain optimal functionality.
- Manage and deploy system improvements, solution upgrades, and data integrations in collaboration with data owners, developers, vendors, and IT resources.
- Collaborate with administrators of related databases to perform data imports/exports and data sync audits.
- Query and run reports to distribute to end users, data owners, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Own your role as the system subject matter expert to provide hands-on support to end users, addressing database questions, data inquiries, technical issues, and ensuring efficient and effective system utilization.
- Develop and deliver optimized help documentation, training sessions, as well as user survey and newsletter communications.
- Act as primary point of contact for CRM and JIRA-related questions and feedback.
- Manage NWF’s Data Protection inbox to resolve data privacy and data removal requests from our supporters.
- Serve as primary point of contact for implementing data hygiene best practices, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct regular data integrity checks to identify and resolve any data issues.
- Research, develop, and maintain data governance policies, ensuring compliance with applicable organization and policy standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and data owners (e.g. development, fundraising, legal, marketing, and operations) to align system capabilities with organizational requirements.
- Regularly meet with super users and gather feedback to improve functionality and data processes.
- Collaborate with data owners and data strategy team to ensure system configuration allows for seamless analytics and reporting.
- 3+ years experience in a system administrator role for an enterprise CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM).
- 3+ years experience serving as primary point of contact for CRM end users, technical staff, and third party vendors.
- 3+ years experience implementing data hygiene best practices, crafting data governance principles, and resolving data integrity tasks.
- Experience working with task management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
- Experience working with complex data sets and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, SQL, Tableau).
- Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, or workflow automations.
- Superior communication, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations, including donor database management, fundraising campaigns, and program delivery.
- Experience documenting and training around system functionality and data processes.
- Certification and/or training in relevant CRM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM).
- Certification and/or training in relevant productivity or task management software (e.g. Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Asana).
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing organizational needs.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
