About This Role
Our Quality Engineers play a crucial role throughout the product lifecycle. They define performance requirements and apply essential quality methodologies during the development process. Collaborating closely with our testing teams, they help design test methodologies, while also partnering with our consumer insights teams to evaluate consumer-facing performance outcomes.
Post-product launch, Quality Engineers work alongside sustaining and product service teams to address in-field issues and continuously improve Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics. They are also key in investigating and root causing potential product safety incidents with our Product Safety Officer a cross functional response teams.

Responsibilities
- New Product Development (NPD): Serve as the quality point during the NPD process. Responsible for defining pass/fail criteria for product features and partnering with technical teams to meet these targets. Collaborate with Product Management and Consumer Insights to define consumer-facing performance metrics and integrate them into the development process.
- Product Improvement: Collaborate with Product Service and Sustaining teams to address field issues, participate in product tear downs and reviews, and work with manufacturing facilities and internal teams for post-launch improvements.
- Test Methodology: Partner with testing teams to define, develop, and review performance testing procedures and results across multiple locations.
- 5+ years of Product Quality Engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience with a consumer goods company.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design or Quality focused field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus on product development experience, preferably with a consumer goods company.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present performance results and “manage up” effectively.
- A relationship-building mindset, combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly effective communication skills for concise, problem-solving discussions and presenting findings to all levels of management.
- A desire to learn, grow, and adapt to shifting priorities while embracing transparency, learning from decisions, and focusing on the path forward.
