We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Automotive Engineer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles with a strong interest in automotive systems and components. The role will involve working with the engineering team in collaboration with our production and quality assurance team to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge automotive technologies that will shape the future of wheelchair-accessible mobility.

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Automotive Engineer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles with a strong interest in automotive systems and components. The role will involve working with the engineering team in collaboration with our production and quality assurance team to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge automotive technologies that will shape the future of wheelchair-accessible mobility.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the design and development of automotive systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Hands-on skills with diagnostics software, hardware, tools, instruments, general electromechanical systems and measurement techniques
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance departments to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and other subsystems
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to validate designs and identify areas for improvement
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
- Support manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production
- Draw layouts, part detailing, and perform GD&T
- Stay current with emerging automotive technologies and trends to drive innovation within the organization
- Integrate mechanical, electronic, and control systems for optimal performance into our products
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Relevant experience in engineering with a strong interest and/or familiarity with automotive systems and components
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
