Position Summary

Under close supervision, the Administrative Support Partner is responsible for assisting customers with product inquiries, resolving issues, and managing order entry activities. This role is part of a cross-functional sales/support team, providing a unique opportunity to develop close working relationships with customers and co-workers.

Essential Functions

  • Team Collaboration:

Participate in cross-functional initiatives, either as a team member or leader, providing input on process and procedure changes.

  • Customer Support:

Handle customer inquiries related to pricing, inventory, tracking, returns, and more. Manage specific account assignments, focusing on account retention and organic growth.

  • Order Processing:

Process orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintain account details, coding, and platform/portal builds.

  • Relationship Building:

Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, nurturing and building strong relationships to support account retention and smooth transitions.

  • Industry Knowledge:

Stay informed about industry standards and operational changes to enhance the customer experience.

  • Performance Metrics:

Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets, upholding Chef Works’ Core Values.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Experience

  • Two to three years of progressive customer support experience in customer service, order processing, retail services, or related environments.

Skills

  • Proficient in Windows 10 or greater, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with order entry database systems is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Lifting

Physical Requirements:

Salary Description

$20 per hour/ $875 Qrtly.
