Responsibilities

  • 10-12 Patients per day
  • Newly Built, State-of-the-art clinics
  • 100% Outpatient
  • A fully supportive care team that enables our doctors to spend time with their patients and provide outstanding care
  • Call Schedule: Based on number of physicians in market (if 20 physician in market = call 1:20)
  • Clinic hours: M-F 8a-5p

In-Office Medical Procedures

  • Suturing: Proficiency in suturing for minor -wound closures.
  • Joint Injections: Competence in administering -joint injections for pain management.
  • Skin Biopsies: Capability to perform skin biopsies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Wound Care: Ability to manage and provide comprehensive wound care.
  • Preventive Screenings: Capability to conduct and interpret preventive screenings relevant to geriatric patients.
  • Fellowship training in Geriatrics welcome, but not required
  • Leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation
  • Deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
  • Driven to care for those with comorbid conditions, the elderly and/or medically underserved

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. graduates
  • Residents welcome to apply
  • Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required)
  • Board Certified IM / FM
  • Bi-Lingual
  • Open to Residents and Fellows
  • Open to Visa Candidates
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Active unencumbered physician Arkasas state license
  • Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
  • One year of work experience as Family Practice Physician
  • One year of EMR experience
  • Board Certified

Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
