Headlands Research

Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Springfield, MO
Contract type: Full time
At Headlands Research, we are dedicated to enhancing clinical trial delivery within our communities. As a leading network of advanced clinical trial sites, we leverage cutting-edge technology and exceptional support services to broaden outreach and participation. Founded in 2018, our rapidly growing company currently operates 20+ sites across the US and Canada, with plans for further expansion.

The Role

You often times find yourself stepping up to the plate to lend a helping hand.

It’s just how you roll…

You love providing assistance to your team and helping everyone succeed.

Demanding details and crossing off lists makes you feel alive. Accomplished. Dare we say, a little giddy?

Because you’d rather douse yourself in honey and sacrifice yourself to a bear than miss a deadline.

You can quickly understand big goals, but unlike most people, your brain immediately starts mapping out every. single. little. step. it takes to get there.

You’ve always been the list keeper, the plate spinner and the nine-armed minute-managing mamma-jamba that makes problems disappear before they arise.

It’s pretty freaking impressive… but pump the breaks for a minute.

You’re not only methodical at managing every minute… You’re also really fun to be around.

And you know what? It’s about time someone acknowledged that you’re a really rare breed.

It’s tragic that you’ve felt suppressed by your job for so long- secretly wondering when you’ll be set free to run the show.

Friend, this is your moment.

We’re Clinvest Research—a medical research facility that conducts clinical trials for global pharmaceutical and medical device companies to help new medications make it to market. We focus on conditions like headaches, migraines, arthritis, obesity, and diabetes, but we’re growing fast and looking to add even more categories in the new year.

In order to make that happen, we need a get it done type of mastermind who can jump in and help the team efficiently function and thrive. Someone who can isn’t afraid to dive into a project and ask questions along the way. Someone that can detail and deliver documents with precision and punctuality. Someone that can answer phone calls in an approachable manner, order supplies, assist with preparing for meetings, maintain appointments and schedules for multiple staff members.

As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the cog that helps everything spin. Our patients will love you because you can make them feel easy entering the building. Your family will love you because this employer values your time with them. And you will love you because work will be something to look forward to. Are we speaking your language?

To really soar in this role, the following things about you will be true

  • You’re a rockstar at relationship building
  • You’re a self-learner, a self-motivator, and a good communicator. Without these skills, you simply won’t make it here
  • You understand the basics of supply ordering and administrative assistant roles
  • (Bonus points) You’ve worked as an administrative assistant and come equipped with multitasking ninja skills

While we’re all about taking care of business, we believe in life outside of work.

Loving your life is the first step to loving your job. It’s part of the equilibrium.

  • Our work hours are Monday-Thursday, 800 am - 500 pm, and Friday 8 am-12 pm
  • We offer generous paid time off where we encourage you to unplug, take a vacation, and come back fresh and refueled.
  • As a break from the daily tasks and to-dos, we also find any reason we can to celebrate birthdays, holidays, successes, and major life events.
  • During the days when the pedal is to the metal in-office, we hold schedule flexibility on a precious pedestal. In addition, we offer medical, dental, life insurance, and a 401k program.
  • Reporting to management and performing administrative duties.
  • Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handling basic inquiries and sorting mail.
  • Copying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette.
  • Performing other administrative tasks, if required.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or support role within the healthcare industry preferred
