Summary
Balfour Beatty is seeking an employee communications coordinator to work in Dallas, TX. This position supports, develops and distributes content to keep our employees informed and engaged. The coordinator works across various communication channels to enhance employee engagement and supports other communications efforts (social media, campaigns, and national marketing). This role reports to the Senior Director of Communications.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with the communications team, local marketing teams, and department leaders to address communications needs.
- Coordinate and execute the bi-monthly digital employee newsletter, including collecting/editing articles, images, and writing feature content.
- Ensure the approval cycle process, incorporating edits and comments.
- Assist with setting up and distributing employee communications, such as memos and meeting invitations.
- Support virtual leadership meetings, including managing presentations and Q&A sessions.
- Maintain/update campaign tags and distribution lists in the communications platform.
- Create screensaver content and manage digital signage for offices and jobsites.
- Create gifs for various employee communication channels.
- Perform and coordinate other assigned activities.

Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience, ideally with B2B internships in marketing or communications.
- Familiarity with Adobe software is a plus, along with basic graphic design skills.
Other Requirements
- Based in Dallas, TX with a hybrid work schedule.
- Open to travel if necessary.
