Salary Range: $30-35/hour

As our Transportation Training Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our drivers are trained, certified, and ready to provide safe and professional transportation services across our Auburn clinic, mobile units, and North Seattle location.

Why You'll Love This Role:

Own & lead the driver training program

Develop high-quality, interactive training for new & existing drivers

Work across multiple locations, including Auburn, mobile units, & North Seattle

Ensure safe, professional, & efficient transportation for our members

Mentor & support drivers, helping them grow in their roles

What You'll Do:

Driver Onboarding & Training:

Own & lead a structured, formalized training program for all new drivers.

Facilitate hands-on training for vehicle operation, safety procedures, and compliance.

Provide a two-day training course covering CPR, Defensive Driving, and Eversafe Driving.

Teach pre- & post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure company safety standards.

Training Program Development:

Design & implement both video-based & in-person driver training.

Collaborate with Indigenous Pact (IP) to develop engaging training videos & digital learning tools.

Continuously assess & improve training effectiveness to align with best practices & company policies.

Operational & Safety Training:

Train drivers on defensive driving, emergency response, & safe member transportation.

Provide customer service guidance to ensure respectful & professional interactions with members.

Oversee training on route planning, scheduling, and vehicle documentation.

Support for Multiple Locations:

Deliver consistent, high-quality training across Auburn, mobile units, & North Seattle.

Travel between locations to ensure all drivers receive the same high-standard training.

Ongoing Support & Development:

Act as a mentor & resource for drivers beyond their initial onboarding.

Keep training materials up to date with policy, procedure, & industry changes.

Work with leadership to identify ongoing training & development opportunities.

Compliance & Record-Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of driver training, certifications, & evaluations.

Ensure CPR & Defensive Driving certifications are renewed on time.

Monitor compliance with safety regulations & company policies.

What You Bring to the Table:

Knowledge:

Safe transportation practices & best practices for member transport.

HIPAA policies & confidentiality as it relates to transportation services.

Basic understanding of vehicle inspections & compliance regulations.

Skills:

Strong training, coaching, & facilitation abilities

Excellent communication & leadership skills

Organizational superpower to manage multiple training sessions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & training/learning management systems (LMS)

Abilities:

Foster a culture of safety, learning & continuous improvement

Lead engaging training sessions that are interactive & hands-on.

Remain calm under pressure & tackle challenges with confidence.

Adapt quickly to shifting priorities & evolving clinic & mobile needs.

Work Environment & Additional Information

This role supports all WCDC locations, including on-site clinics & mobile operations. Travel between locations is expected.

Early morning availability is required to support transportation operations.
