The role involves performing a variety of complex secretarial and administrative duties to support the division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Chief's calendar, coordinating, and arranging meetings, sending invitations, and reserving conference rooms. Additionally, the position requires tracking and managing important projects, following up with staff members to ensure the timely completion of assignments. The individual will be expected to answer phone calls, take detailed messages, ordering supplies, and handle general inquiries. The role also includes reviewing correspondence, forms, and documents prepared by staff, drafting professional letters and other correspondence as needed, and organizing and arranging travel plans, including accommodations and itineraries, along with other tasks as assigned.
