Medical Records Coordinator

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour, DOE

8:30am – 5:00pm / Monday - Friday

A specialty pharmaceuticals company in the city of Whittier is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Records Candidate to join the team. This role involves managing and maintaining patient charts, filing incoming medical documents, and ensuring that all necessary medical records are up to date and easily accessible You are applying with Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning staffing firm, for this long-term position.

Medical Records Coordinator Responsibilities

• Ensure that all required medical documents are in patient charts.
• Create new patient charts and maintain organized records.
• File all incoming medical documents.
• Request additional medical records as needed by staff or pharmacists.
• Follow up on all medical record requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  
  

Medical Records Coordinator Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, respectful attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer skills is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to achieving business goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
