Job Purpose

Join a team committed to inspiring and motivating young learners. As a Before & After Care Worker, you will assist in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment, supervising students during before and after school programs according to CSUSA policy and school procedures.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents effectively and courteously.
• Assist with student sign in/out procedures and monitor activities.
• Follows proper student sign in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follows proper student check in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitors students.
• Observes who enters and leaves childcare area.
• Passes out snacks.
• Plays with students on playground.
• Tutors and assists students with homework.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• Preferred experience as a daycare assistant or camp counselor.
• Affection for children and commitment to company values.
• Other acceptable alternatives to qualifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Typical school conditions with potential noise during high student traffic.

Physical Demands

Light work with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds; some stress from student activities.

Exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
