This position requires onsite attendance at our Redwood City, CA office.

Compensation starting at $100,000/year with no commission cap.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, customer relationships, and market growth. Your role will include:

  • Engaging with CustomersAssist customers with product inquiries, orders, and technical guidance via chat, email, and phone, ensuring a seamless buying experience.
  • Driving Sales GrowthLeverage your PC hardware knowledge to identify opportunities, close sales, and increase revenue.
  • Managing Government and Corporate ContractsNavigate government purchasing processes and ordering systems to secure contracts with organizations like NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Meta.
  • Representing the BrandPlan and manage the company booth at trade shows and industry events, ensuring a professional presentation. Attend these events to connect with potential customers, partners, and influencers, promoting the STEIGER DYNAMICS brand and products.
  • Internal CollaborationWork closely with our production, marketing, and technical teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Maintaining Product ExpertiseStay up to date on our entire product line and the latest industry trends to provide expert recommendations.
  • Create Marketplace Listings: Make our products more accessible by listing pre-configured systems on third party marketplaces like Amazon.

Qualifications

  • Sales ExpertYou have previous sales experience in the PC hardware industry and a track record of exceeding targets.
  • PC Hardware EnthusiastYou’ve built countless PCs and are the go-to expert for friends, family, and colleagues. You know your way around BIOS settings, fan curves, and the latest GPUs, CPUs, and chipsets.
  • Customer-FocusedYou thrive on helping customers find the perfect solution and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional approach.
  • Market-SavvyYou keep up with industry trends on sites like Tom’s Hardware, AnandTech, and PC Gamer. You know what customers want and what competitors are offering.
  • Strong CommunicatorYou have excellent verbal and written communication skills, making complex technical details accessible to all.
  • Proactive and OrganizedYou take initiative, solve problems, and manage your time effectively.
