Mississippi Silicon is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with prior heavy industry experience to manage a team in day-to-day maintenance activities at our plant in Burnsville, Mississippi.
Key Responsibilities
Mississippi Silicon is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with prior heavy industry experience to manage a team in day-to-day maintenance activities at our plant in Burnsville, Mississippi.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of mechanical and electrical technicians
- Ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed driving a positive safety culture
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans.
- Coordinate and oversee breakdown repairs to minimize downtime
- Inventory/Spare parts for all plant equipment, tools and maintenance supplies
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
- Industrial experience in a Supervision role
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, and fitting
- Basic electrical knowledge required.
- Familiar with maintenance management system software tools
