A New Leaf is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our housing assistance programs in the West Valley. This role is responsible for handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, assisting with client documentation, and supporting program staff to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $22 (depending on years of experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm

Location: Surprise, AZ

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required & 1-2 years of direct experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required & 3-4 years of direct experience required OR Associate / Bachelor degree + 1-2 years of direct experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required & 4+ years of direct experience required OR Associate / Bachelor degree + 3-4 years of direct experience required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Process incoming calls / emails, research and respond to requests and refer calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Demonstrate and provide strong communications skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Attend/participate in meetings/facilitate staff training.
  • Assist with establishing partnerships with other community resources to provide onsite supports to the site.
  • Perform Clerical and administrative duties for the program including: Filing, Data-entry, composing postings correspondence, Running a variety of reports.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of standard office equipment and their functions.
  • Assist program staff with special projects including data gathering, data analysis, events, and site activities.
  • Receive and assist visitors, donors, vendors, volunteers and other community members.
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times, including verbal and written client/family information.
  • Other tasks deemed necessary per program supervisor due to changes in program design.

  • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance
  • 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
