We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction project management principles and a proven track record of success in contract administration, procurement, and financial management. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management:
    • Review, analyze, and interpret construction contracts to identify key terms, conditions, and obligations.
    • Administer contract changes, modifications, and extensions.
    • Monitor contract compliance and enforce contractual provisions.
    • Manage contract closeout processes, including final payment and lien releases.
  • Procurement and Subcontract Management:
    • Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services.
    • Issue purchase orders and subcontracts.
    • Manage subcontractor payment applications and lien waivers.
  • Change Order Management:
    • Review and process change order requests.
    • Obtain necessary approvals and issue change orders.
    • Track change order costs and impact on project budgets.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and submit monthly AIA project billing invoices.
    • Track project costs and budgets.
  • Lien Waiver Management:
    • Obtain and track lien waivers from subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure timely release of lien waivers to protect the project.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Provide administrative support to project managers and field staff.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
    • Assist with project closeout procedures.
Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. (Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project administration.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in construction software, including Spectrum ERP (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position in Atlanta, GA is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
