What We Are Looking For

Yazaki is looking for Technical Specialist- Power BI/Power Platform to join our Information Technology team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of data, reporting and process solutions for the BI function in the Information Technology Department. Responsible for administration and support of the BI tool set for the YNCA and Y-EMEA regions. Must possess knowledge in accessing data to provide reporting and business process solutions to the business. Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills to understand a customer requirement and bring it to a working solution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support implementation Executive Dashboard Reporting with drill down detail to specific areas of business (Corporate KPI Tree).
• Develop Initial “Mock-Up” design for reporting to ensure requirements and branding.
• Develop basic reports or hand over design document to developer for more complex reports.
• Perform branding/finish work on developed reports to meet the branding requirements for consistency.
• Learn to create visualizations, data model design and DAX formula design and development.
• Help to design and implement the security model for report access including RLS (Row Level Security).
• Learn to consume data from Data Warehouse to support report and data analytic design.
• Liaison between customer and IT for our YNCA and Y-EMEA regions for reporting, process and data related projects.
• Administration and Support for currently deployed solutions.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Table

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, Data/Analytics or related Program or work experience.
• Required: 1-2 years experience in Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform or Azure Data Warehouse
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform or Azure Data Warehouse a plus
• Intermediate skills in MS Power BI/Power Platform, Adobe XD and related design tools, MS Azure Data Studio/SQL, and beginner experience in SAP ERP and/or BW
