Responsibilities
Logistics Specialist
- W2 Contract** Bolingbrook, IL**100% Travel**$23-28/hr**
- Reporting of key performance indicators
- High proficiency in MS products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required
- Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
Responsibilities
- Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
- Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
- Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
- Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions.
- Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 7 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse environment is required
- Reporting of key performance indicators
- High proficiency in MS products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required
- Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Critical thinking skills - analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to employ effective time management skills
- Independently follow and execute work assignments
- Must be able to work without supervision; self-starter
- Ability to interact with all levels of management including executives
- Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, and language barriers.
- MUST have a clean driving record**
