SUMMARY
Responsible for processing jackpots, W2G’s, specialty fills and assisting with all guest concerns and/or needs in an assigned area. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures and all internal and external regulations. Assures excellent guest service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs customer service calls in an assigned area, encompassing up to 400 Slot Machines.
- Troubleshoots slot machine problems and clears simple jams; notifies slot technicians of serious malfunctions; maintains ticket levels in slot machines in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures superior guest service by taking a proactive approach with guests; greets guests with eye contact and a smile, offering help and assistance whenever possible.
- Processes jackpots according to company and departmental policies and procedures; responsible for the accurate accounting of money pouch and assigned floor bank.
- Identifies and resolves guest concerns by continually patrolling assigned work area.
- Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic working knowledge of slot machine payouts and payout schedules, normally acquired through one to three years of related experience.
- Ability to perform basic computer skills to accurately process jackpots and W2G’s.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
- Understanding of Regulation 6A; must be 21 years of age and able to obtain all local, state, and federal regulatory permits as required by position.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.
- Mobility throughout the casino; ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Walking, meeting and greeting guests in gaming areas; may require weekend and evening work; must work calmly and under stress when business volume increases; able to stand and walk for extended periods; able to tolerate areas with secondary smoke and high noise levels.

Job-Specific Expectations
- Front-line supervision of slot change persons, booth cashiers.
- Reports to Director of Slot Operations/Assistant Director.
- Directly manages change persons, booth cashiers, and slot carousel attendants.
- Clears currency jams in slot bill acceptors.
- Performs hopper fills on slots.
- Verifies hand-paid slot jackpots and waits while change person makes jackpot payoff to customers.
- Assists with personnel administration, including scheduling and discipline.
- Verifies opening and closing banks of change persons and booth cashiers.
- Answers guests' questions regarding slots, tournaments, and/or promotions.
